We take pride in working closely with our clients and candidates to make sure we find precisely the right jobs for the right people. Don’t just take our word for it though – here’s what some of our clients have to say about working with us:
HR Coordinator, COFCO
We’ve enjoyed a long relationship with Margaret at Hunter Chase, and in the years we’ve been dealing with her we’ve been really impressed by her efficiency, professionalism and knowledge of our business and the agricultural industry.
As HR coordinator at COFCO, I always rely on Hunter Chase’s expertise to ensure quality hires. We’re often looking for trainee farm traders and supply chain coordinators and I’ve lost count of the number of roles we’ve filled with high-calibre candidates thanks to Hunter Chase.
Their strength is that they really understand the type of people, skills and industry experience we’re looking for. As agribusiness specialists, they have insider knowledge which other recruitment consultancies can’t compete with.
Margaret is excellent at what she does: she’s proactive and is always on the lookout for the kind of candidate she knows we want, whether we’re officially advertising for a position or not. Of course, she also works with the client to ensure the end result is an agreement which satisfies both parties. Her efforts in negotiating the finer details of a contract and the constant communication required to close a deal saves us a huge amount of time and resource.
Hunter Chase offers a really professional and personal service, and I’d certainly recommend them to any agribusiness looking for external support for their recruitment process.
I was working as a Product Manager with a fertiliser company when Margaret from Hunter Chase contacted me via LinkedIn. Although I wasn’t actively looking for a new job I was open to opportunities, and Margaret told me she was recruiting for an area manager for an established and respected business within the same industry.
From the point that I expressed interest and Hunter Chase went back to the company with my profile, things moved very quickly. Margaret was in touch regularly by email and phone, dealing with queries immediately and getting swift responses from the company if there were questions she couldn’t answer. After a Friday interview, I received word the following Monday that the company were keen to offer me the position.
Once again, Margaret’s help was invaluable: she was my point of contact throughout the job offer and helped me to negotiate the details of the contract. I felt comfortable dealing with her and found agreeing terms through a trustworthy go-between made the process much easier. I’m starting my new job next month and I’m really looking forward to it!
I first started working with Hunter Chase when I was looking for a recruiter with experience in the horticultural sector. I represent a fertiliser manufacturer and we’ve used Hunter Chase to fill technical sales roles for several years.
The quality of service we receive is excellent, which is why we go back to them time and time again. I’ve previously dealt with recruitment consultancies who have bombarded me with CVs of widely varying quality; Brian, however, rarely offers up candidates who don’t fit the job spec. We’ve developed a great rapport and established a professional relationship built on trust.
Hunter Chase is great at understanding our requirements and Brian goes out of his way to find people who are an ideal fit for our organisation. Depending on our needs, Brian can find us a shortlist of suitable candidates within a tight timeframe. Equally, he’s able to take time to search for candidates with a very niche set of skills and experiences – it really depends on what we’re looking for.
Would I recommend Hunter Chase? Yes. For me, it makes perfect sense to outsource a task that would be difficult and challenging for us to carry out in-house, and Hunter Chase has the skills, experience and network needed to source candidates of the calibre we require.
