Aquatrols has pioneered the development of environmentally sound products for sustainable and balanced turf management for over 40 years. The tried and tested products are used throughout the UK and Europe by professional turf managers who appreciate the benefits of organic and balanced turf care. In addition, the Company offers a full range of products backed up by decades of independent and university research, to solve water management problems.

Due to succession planning in this important area of the UK, Aquatrols is looking to recruit an Account Manager in the East of England. The main responsibility for the position is the support and development of key Aquatrols accounts. This will be achieved by the preparation of an account plan for each distributor customer that demonstrates an understanding of the strategy, significant influencers 
and competitor relationships within the marketplace. Success in the role will be measured by achieving turnover and profit targets through an agreed product mix. Other responsibilities will include:

  • Work with technical and marketing colleagues in the UK and the
US to identify ongoing opportunities
  • Develop effective relationships with the decision makers and 
influencers within each account to facilitate further growth
  • Create demand at all levels within the customer chain
  • Manage the marketing budget to aid the company profile with end users and distribution

Applicants will need to demonstrate a successful track record in account management either in the amenity, horticultural or agribusiness sectors and have the ability to service and add value to current customers and develop new business. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and analytical skills and have the ability to work within a successful team and work on their own initiative.
