Hunter Chase Consultants are delighted to be recruiting a European Technical Sales Manager for Anpario plc. This is an important role within Anpario’s European Commercial team and will be home based in England.

Anpario plc is a well-established, innovative manufacturer of animal nutrition and animal health products. They are keen to recruit an additional European Technical Sales Manager to visit existing customers in a number of allocated European countries and to develop further product sales. Working as part of the European Sales Team, from a home base in England, responsibilities will include developing the business brand, gradually growing sales within the allocated territory through the development of existing customers and also through the establishment of new customers.

Main tasks:

  • Management of key accounts within allocated territory
  • Develop new business
  • Conduct prospect meetings, including presentations
  • Help to develop strategies for increasing sales in allocated countries
  • Attend relevant events, trade shows and seminars
  • Reporting into the European Commercial Manager, with full support provided by the UK head office technical and sales team

Candidates Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant commercial or sales experience in the agricultural sector
  • Willingness to travel to Europe at least one week per month
  • Technical understanding of animal nutrition, feed additives, animal health, or similar products
  • Track record of effectively managing customer relationships
  • Team player, motivated and confident
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organise and prioritise own workload
  • Willingness to travel to Europe at least once per month
  • Animal Science Degree or equivalent – ideal but may not be essential
  • Full driving licence
  • A second European language is desirable, but not essential

Location: Working from a home base in England

Salary: £35-45k base, plus car allowance and benefits package.
